Contract extensions at Omiya Ardija

The 27 year-old left-back Norio Suzuki, whose versatility has also seen him play as a left-sided midfielder, has extended his contract with J.League Division One club Omiya Ardija. Suzuki, who impressed during his nineteen starts in the 2010 season but featured just twice in the 2011 calendar year – one as a late substitute – will be hoping for more playing time in 2012 for the Squirrels under Jun Suzuki, who finished in thirteenth place last season.

The 21 year-old South Korean international central defender Kim Young-Kwon has also agreed a new deal with the Saitama club, who made twenty-seven appearances during the league campaign.
