AFC Champions League: Group F live-blog schedule – 울산 현대 (Ulsan Hyundai) v. FC東京 (FC Tokyo)

The Big Crown Stadium is the backdrop for FC Tokyo’s sole remaining Group F match, Ulsan Hyundai providing the opposition in a contest from which the Gas need take only a point to finish as group winners.

Should FC Tokyo end Matchday Six sitting at the top of Group F, they will set up a Round of 16 tie at home against Kashiwa Reysol, while defeat will spell a trip to China and a visit to the Tianhe Stadium to play Guangzhou Evergrande.

On 15 May Kashiwa Reysol face one of their sternest tests of the season so far when they travel to the Jeonju World Cup Stadium for a match they must win if they are to progress to the knockout rounds of the 2012 AFC Champions League.

Jeonbuk may have suffered two 5-1 reversals at the hands of Guangzhou Evergrande and Reysol, but they top the group having won their three other matches and need take only a point from the final Group H game to advance.

FC Tokyo, leaders of Group F from Ulsan Hyundai on goal difference at the halfway stage of qualification for the knockout rounds, face Beijing Guoan at the Ajinmoto Stadium on Tuesday, and Ranko Popović’s men will be hoping to respond positively to the weelend’s surprise defeat in J.League Division 1 at home to Kashima Antlers.
